MINDFUL OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE: What to Bring

While on the outing, it’s a good idea to limit your use of technology (cell phones, binoculars, scopes, and cameras) so that you can fully experience the outdoors and the cues that I'll be sharing with you.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Dress for comfort and the weather; loose clothing and layers are advised

  • Shoes that are comfortable for paths and trails

  • Hat

  • Sunscreen

  • Water bottle with water

  • Medication(s) you may need

Optional Items:

  • A light backpack to carry a snack and water/other beverage (optional)

  • An outdoor seating pad (optional)

  • A folding chair (optional)

Following the conclusion of your MOE, consider birding with:

  • Binoculars, scopes, and camera (optional)
